Louise
She is a mother of four and married to Will. She loves growing, especially herbs, flowers and fruit and also has a passion to help make Thanet a more beautiful place. She has organised materials and plans for the market gardens and also has a degree in languages.
Will
He is innovative, clever, good at problem solving and resourceful. He uses what we have laying around the yard to build things. He hates the fact that everything modern breaks and longs for good quality to be restored to manufacturing. When he’s not swearing about something else breaking because it’s made of tut, he enjoys cooking, being out in the wild and playing Spanish guitar. He also has a degree in Spanish and business studies.
Stuart
A vegetable guru with a cheeky-chappy demeanor and accompanying heart of gold, he may resemble a pirate but he actually has a fine art degree so when not growing veg he can be found painting. He’s everybody’s friend and will always have a rude word for you. He’s been growing veg for a very long time and he is very good at it. I’d go so far as to say he is probably better at it than a gnome, although he may actually have some gnome genes, what with his small stature and long beard.
Our Children
Delilah age 12: She is a master grower with very green fingers. She has made her own garden and can be found singing to her plants and growing fruit trees from shop bought fruit and nurturing baby cacti. We wish our garden was as lovely as hers. She is the Mary Poppins of gardening and will step in to help whenever necessary.

Gloria age 7: She Sprinkles everything with fairydust. It’s important to keep the fairies happy when running a market garden as you can imagine. This is also more interesting than weeding or planting or watering and you don’t have to do it everyday, which suits her.

Thorfinn age 2: He will be on hand to clean up the beds as his specialty is following along behind us, wherever that may be, and pulling stuff out with the thoroughness of a machine. We plan to use this super talent for weeding. Wish us luck.

Estelle age 2: She is the manager of her twin brother Thorfinn and frankly the whole family. She has a deep sense of justice and her shout and harder- stare -than Paddington, will stop us in our tracks if we are out of line. Nothing happens if Estelle does not approve. The only thing holding her back from running the whole operation is her tiny stature and small range of vocabulary. When these minor obstacles are overcome I know she will apply for the managers position.
